【素材】氷、砂、葉
落ちていた若葉を氷に閉じ込め、その上から果実の実った枝の写真を印刷した。
まだ若葉だった頃には、これから実る果実の姿を知らない。
果実になったあとには、もう若葉の頃には戻れない。
この作品はのちにZIMAという作品制作のための実験だったため、１枚しか撮影していない。

A young leaf that had fallen to the ground was encased in ice, and a photograph of a branch bearing ripe fruit was printed over it.
When it was still a young leaf, it could not know what fruit it would eventually bear.
Once it became fruit, it could never return to its time as a young leaf.
This work was an experiment for a later work titled ZIMA, and therefore only one photograph was taken.
