被写体には東京スカイツリーを選んだ。人工物の象徴であるスカイツリーが氷の結晶の中に現れることで、都市と氷という異なる構造が一枚の写真の中で重なる。

A work that visualizes the crystalline structure of ice using polarizing filters.
I chose the Tokyo Skytree as the subject. As the Skytree, a symbol of man-made structures, emerges within the ice crystals, two contrasting structures—urban architecture and ice—overlap within a single photograph.
